Tim Kitonyi

Lead Instructor

Tim is a certified professional in multiple ICT disciplines including Oracle Databases, UNIX (Solaris) and Linux (Redhat) Operating systems, Microsoft Products, Novell, and SAP Finance. Tim has carried out multiple configurations and implementations of ICT products in Kenya, Uganda, and Djibouti, especially for Oracle Technology and Fusion Middleware weblogic application servers, involving Identity and Access Management, Enterprise Single-Sign-on, Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, High Availability Real Application Clusters, Audit Vault and Database Firewall, Business Intelligence systems, Data Guard Disaster Recovery, Database recovery and support, as well as Performance Tuning. He is a seasoned ICT products trainer in the above fields and more spanning several countries in East, West, Central, and Southern African countries. Previously, Tim was the Director of Education at the Institute of Software Technologies (IST) between 2007 and 2012.

Kent Kamau

Red Hat Certified Instructor

Kent is highly experienced in SQL and ICT support. (Linux and Unix Environments), working with Oracle Databases and Microsoft SQL server, installations and patching of Oracle Database Grid Architecture plus Enterprise Cloud Management, database performance tuning and monitoring, performing database backups and creation of standby databases through Dataguard, automation of Administration Tasks using Ansible. Kent holds a Red Hat Certified Engineer, Red Hat Certified System Administrator and is a Red Hat Certified Instructor.

Lewis Waita

Red Hat Certified Instructor

Lewis is a database and systems administrator with proficient skills in dealing with oracle technologies and Linux systems. He is experienced in SQL and ICT support. (Windows, Linux and Unix Environments), working with Oracle Databases, installations and upgrade of Oracle Database Grid Architecture plus Enterprise Cloud Management, database performance tuning and monitoring, performing database backups and creation of standby databases through Oracle Data guard, automation of System Administration Tasks using Ansible. Lewis holds a Red Hat Certified Engineer, Red Hat Certified System Administrator and is a Red Hat Certified Instructor.
